Try to name the folder with maps MAP. if you named it with Garmin, it might not read, usually in the internal memory you have to put it in a folder named Map, and in the SD card it can also be Garmin. It has never happened to me that even on the SD card I have to put the name of the Map folder on the card

Some devices will not read more than 16 GB, your device uses 4.8 and 16 GB SD cards.

You don't say what maps this device has originally, so if you wanted to add the Full Europe to a device with no Europe maps you would arrange & rename them on an SD card as below.

SQLite files should be placed on the device to work best.

It sounds like you might have a file location & or a file naming conflict.

I got the same issue on Garmin Monterra. North loads fine. South does not load. Map is on SD card in folder Garmin. When I rename it to map, no single map loads anymore.

For now I went back to 2024.10.

Update: I had a corrupted download. Re-downloading the south map made it show up.

Not all devices have the same lay out ,look at your garmindevice.xml this shows you what folder the supplemental map(s) files go in.
The two Europe maps have to have unique names
Example
Garmin/ gmapsupp.img
Garmin/ gmapsup1.img

<Name>SupplementalMaps</Name>
<File>
<Specification>
<Identifier>IMG</Identifier>

</Specification>

<Location>
<Path>Garmin</Path>

Thanks. I did exactly that but still only north. I guess I need to skip 2024.20 and try my luck with 2024.30 when it is out.

Update: I redownloaded the south map unlocked .img file and it works fine now. I guess my download got corrupted.
