The files you dowloaded are the PC Version of Map (the so called MapSource Version, or gmap).
These Maps represent the elementary Tiles with which the .IMG Maps are created to be used on the Devices.
To do this you should use MapInstall (or, if you want MapSource itsself).
Both these software create a custom MapSet (usually namend gmapsupp.img) that must be Unlocked with before using on Device

Hi,
Need the IMG unlocked files
EU NTU 2023.10 North IMG UnLocked
EU NTU 2023.10 South IMG UnLocked
Is there a way to get them because the link in the first post of this discussion is invalid (or has been removed)

Welcome to the forum.
Better to tell us what device you have so we can properly help you with what you have asked for ,if your device is designed for these NTU maps it would be capable of handling the whole of Europe with the addition of an SD card and make use of the additional files JCV, ASR, SID, SQLite etc.
or just download D621022A.img from South includes Italy ,just change it's name to gmapsupp.img to use on an SD card.
