Garmin Topo Spain V7 PRO
Mega download link:
Unzip and extract the files.
Copy the files to the SD or microSD after creating a folder in the SD called 'Garmin'
Enter the SD in the GPS and select in the browser, the Maps Topo Spain.
Verify that the maps are installed.
Note: They may not work for all browsers. I tried a Zümo 550 and it worked. A greetinggordologo Reviewed by gordologo on . Thanks for the map! Unfortunately no less than 2 sand storms which ruined a couple of hikes. I have the map on my Garmin Oregon, everything seems to work, I'm wondering about the so called SQL file, what does it add? I didn't find it in the download.

Saludo
Lars

First of all you have to read my Post #2 in order to activate the visualization of Named Trais
The SQL File (006-D4603-02.db) is present in the same Archive of Map. Extract in folder \Garmin\SQL of microSD card
Contents of this file are the so called "Named Trais", a serie of Routes ready tu use in your GPS and visible in BaseCamp (Find -> Named Trails)

I am quite unfamiliar with both file format and file structure.
1. I downloaded the rar, unpacked it and placed img file (+ the other to files) on the SD card in a \Garmin folder. The. db file was placed in a \Garmin\SQL folder.
2. I used Gmaptool to change the product number in the img file header.
What have I missed? Do I need to make further updates to the files in Gmaptool, or have another file structure on the SD card?
It's not that easy when you're over 75, you have to keep up so you find your way home, I'm not that keen on participating in forums, but I've understood that you're willing to help me. the post was made by my friend who is trying to help. Thanks so far, we'll see how it goes

Hi Lars, Thank you for the kind words, I confirm that my intention is to help you.
So:
- First of all, a detail about your Oregon. There are 2 models of this device, Oregon 6x0 (HWID: 1651) which does not need any Firmware Patch to to read Unlocked Maps, and Oregon 7xx (HWID: 2512) which instead needs Firmware Patch.
If this second is your case, I will get you the Patched Firmware.
In any case, can you see the Map on your Oregon? Or do you see a message that says "the Maps are corrupt ..."? (this is the signal of the need for Patch).
The Named Trails, Itinerari Tematici in Italian Language (present inside SQL 006-D4603-02.db:
If you connect your device to BaseCamp you should see these Named Trails.
The following is a screenshot of my PC (it's in Italian language, but you should understand ...)

Hey ! Thanks for the reply! Nice to be able to have a conversation on google translate. Well, I should mention that I changed the GPS to the Garmin 66s, the previous one was messing with the screen lock and giving wrong readings. I have only tested the new one a little bit. Got so frustrated that I deleted all the files and intend to download them again, with the help of a good friend, so hopefully next week I will have a new file downloaded. How do you think it works in the Garmin 66s? Thanks so much for your help to an old hiker
