Hey ! I am somewhat frustrated that it should be so difficult to download this map! only get a basic map without traces and details, no names, etc., the easiest way is to buy the original! Is there no A.B.C how to proceed? Only have a mac computer, which might make work more difficult? Can someone fix this map so I can download it to an SD card, (tried too many times with maptool, etc., nothing for the beginner) I can pay a little money for this!

2. Extract Firmware from Archive and Rename file as GUPDATE.GCD
   Copy GUPDATE.GCD in \Garmin folder of Device
   Reboot Device to flash new firmware

Hey ! Excuse my ignorance in the GPS area, but shame on whoever gives in. Have downloaded WebUpdater for my mac, you write that I should connect to a PC, I don't have a PC to connect my 66s to, but if I understand correctly, I will unpack the file that you have kindly sent and drag it to webupdater, which then my gps updates?Should I rename the file to GUPDATE, etc. or does it only apply to alt 2. Hope you can put up with the newbie, would love to send you some rain, because it's pouring down.

Hi Lars, I said PC but I meant MAC.
Anyway, I suggest you to tray alt 2 renaming file in GUPDATE.GCD, etc ...

I want to read this map in my android phone with oruxmpas (but i think it the same problem for all garmin img) but the display is not correct
In don't find solution.
Have you an idea or an another android app capable to display img maps?

Simply you can't. Garmin proprietary NT IMGs are not readeble by not Garmin Applications
