Yes, just the same as Europe NTU. You will get the warning The map set is larger than 4GB if you select too much.
For example All of Europe excluding Turkey is 3.93GB so will work if you are not travelling within Turkey

While I understand, why the map is split, I don't understand, while it is so much bigger? Basically, 2021.20 is about 1.5GB greater in size, as 2021.10? I mean, I can't image, that so much new information is included?
Does anyone understand,
why City Navigator is now named including 'Update' in title?

I can't remember, that this was ever before the case.

Display name can easily be changed with ImgTool or JaVaWa
gmapupdate.img was used in 2021.10, naming is based on what device & supplemental map location
It seems West & East overlap each other so there is duplication, that's why the combined files are larger, actually there's only a small increase in map data, but that exceeded the 4GB limit.

Well, it was called before 'CN Europe NT YYYY.MM ALL', while it's now first time called 'CN Europe NT YYYY.MM Update ALL East/West'. I even don't have those files named gmapupdate.img or supplemental map location, as Montana 700 series uses original files names like D0323410A.img and D8940000A.img.
I also noticed, that only the full EU version has 'Update' in title. If you install a smaller region via Garmin Express, no 'Update' is present in name. So this sounds more like a fault by Garmin or something, but it's just cosmetical.

The supplied JCV's don't work a submap (Iberia, created with map Install), and that's not usual!

I have a bad feeling that Garmin has made a mistake with the JCV files.
The JCV files from Central EU and Western EU are larger than the Full EU JCV file.
The map files are now split into East/West due to the FAT32 4GB Limit.
But i think they just delivered the "East JCV" file in the full EU Version.
Can someone confirm my assumtion?
The JCV D3092270A (Central EU Map) is 242 MB and has 363 Map ID's inside.
The JCV D3090270A (Western EU Map) is 294 MB and has 398 Map ID's inside.
But the small FULL EU JCV D3084270A is only 175 MB and only has 299 Map ID's inside.
And the large FULL EU JCV D2504300A is 347 MB and only has 309 Map ID's inside.
