D2666280A.jcv contains MAPID of CN EU NT 2021.10. It will not work with CN EU NT 2021.20

I've seen that
Western Europe 2021.20 D2666280A.jcv downloaded via Garmin Express.
Garmin give wrong version..
Europe map jcv file also wrong (Europe West not included)
Map name also wrong (CN Europe NT Update 2021.20)
i think Garmin gives one more map!!

Nuvi 250, regional IMG file sufficient on its own?
From #1, I've downloaded the "UK & ROI.rar" from the "Regions with JCV" section. I have an ancient Nuvi 250, and checking the "GarminDevice.xml", there is no mention of "jcv" anywhere therein. I assume the device doesn't support it?
Is it sufficient for me to simply copy only the extracted "gmapprom.img" to the Garmin folder on the Nuvi? Does it also need the jcv file to be present to work? Can I ignore the jcv file completely?
Apologies for the basic question, thanks for any guidance!

Molly, it's the same as when you updated before. The nuvi 250 does not use Junction view .The gmapprom.img is 438 MB ,so might not fit on the internal memory this time. Then you will have to use a FAT 32 formatted SD card, change the maps file name to gmapsupp.img & place in a folder called Garmin you will have to create.
Finally update your in Garmin/POILast edited by Garmin_Nuvi; 5th May 2021 at 07:16 AM.
Unless you are a "New" member, having used the Thanks button regularly is the quickest way to get help.

I've tested CN Europe NT Update 2021.20 using both parts (word "Update" edited) with
D3084270A.jcv & D3090270A.jcv installed instead of the half size sequential update file D2504300.jcv supplied by GE
When using simulation mode to test random locations around Europe I get Junction views in UK, Sweden, Poland, Hungry, Ukraine, Spain, Turkey.Last edited by Garmin_Nuvi; 5th May 2021 at 08:53 AM.

According to the Poi Factory (and my experience as well), the internal memory size for the nuvi 250 is 2GB. Even if it's 1 in some earlier version, there should be plenty of space for a 438Mb file, in case the previous gmapprom.img was deleted. Perhaps no SD card is needed.

@abzoo: Yep, there was plenty of space on the internal memory to add the latest UK map.
