    I just had a brain bubble burst. Could the gmapprom.img be directly loaded into my car program and ELIMINATE the need to run it through Mapsource???? I bet it can. Will need some time to test it out and I'll post back here. One final question: If I need to make it smaller, (the file size) how would I do that? I've opened it with GMapTool, and extracted all the files, but after that...........I'm lost.

    To identify which ASR file 1.0 or 2.0 ,check your devices garmindevice.xml

    Default City Navigator North America 2022.10, Custom, East Coast only?

    Would it be possible to post a custom USA, East Coast gmapsupp.img file, (under 2 GB in size) for City Navigator North America 2022.10 please?

    I think you can't customize any .img file.
    However, you can download MapSource posted by Fared123 earlier and use MapInstall to customize any US region/States you want. MapIntall also provides estimated size on your region selection.
    That's what I did for my old devices which can only read Garmin maps with size less than 2 GB.

    Is it possible to post entire gmapprom.img file of City_Navigator_North_America_NT_2022_10.gmap.rar? The ealier post Z01 - Z06 file is broken, cannot be unzip. Thx!

    Loaded the unzipped mex and usa .img(s) into gmap, and combined to one gmapsupp.

    However, the handheld 64ST said error/invalid JNX file.

    Used gimgunlock for the img, and still shows as locked.

    Any ideas?!
