Hello There,

One question, what's the different between replacing my gmapprom from 2012 with the one in here (gmapprom(8031).rar ) or keep the old one and install the City Navigator Middle East NT 2020.10 - MENA.gmap.rar ?

I tried replacing and the decide seems working fine ! The main boot it change from 2012 into 2016

My device is Navi 3790T

what is on your nuvi 3790T ,I assume out of date MENA ? if that is the case the updating it with (gmapprom(8031).rar ) and the additional files JCV etc is the way I would go.

City Navigator Middle East NT 2020.10 - MENA.gmap.rar ? is for a PC to use with MapSource or BaseCamp and create map set for that region but does not include any Junction view etc just the basic map.

I have a GPS Garmin Camper 770 LMT-D.
I have downloaded the CN Middle East & North Africa 2020.1.
I decompressed all .rar files
I have all intalled on a Micro-SD card (in a Garmin folder)
when I turn on the GPS, there is a message saying "corrupted card".
in the map menu of the GPS, I have all the visible files except the cartography (DEM, foursquare, parkopedia, 3D)
I unlocked everything with Gimgunlock but it does not change anything.
I also found in Imgtool that the page codes are not the same for all .img files (1256 or 65001)

my question
can this GPS read CN Middle East & North Africa 2020.1? or is it protected?
or is there a specific .jcv or .sid file for this GPS?

Hi, I have Garmin 1400 last time I use City Navigator Middle East and North Africa NT 2019.10 witch inside folder there is a file as CityNavigatorMiddleEastNT2017.20-MENAUpdate so when I run that start to install Map in my device and then I with mapsource transfer to my device
till now I can not use any update for map in my device because I never find the file as update.exe in any folder
please help me I can use last version of map in my device

Not sure where you got your previous downloads but all they are doing is taking up space.


Download from the latest map gmapprom(8031).rar and JCV D3058240A(480 x 270)Full screen.rar from my Post #4 and just Copy them to your device or SD card they are unlocked,There is no installing them with MapSource or update.exe.

Tried loading the map on a Montana 610.
It says cant unlock map. Please advise how to go about unlocking the map? I tried loading the gmapprom.img file in the device.

You didn't use the Thanks button so I can't see where you got the gmapprom.img but if you download from Post #4 all my stuff is UNlocked
