I simply downloaded the map; "unpacked" the download using WinRaR; installed on SD card for Nuvi 1300; turned on. Worked.

Unlocked, mudbug....can't hurt to download it and see....I too thought the map was "locked" as I've forgotten the few skills I once had with the tools, relying on the unlocked versions bam bam posts.

Hello dear , thank you for your post , I do have a nuvi 1300 , can you please help with more details how to upgrade the maps ?I download the maps from post #12 after unpacking them with winrar I got many files and folders, which one to put on the SD card? few years ago I used to put only one file with the extension like this "gmapsupp.img"
