Not 100% certain but i think that there wasn't a 27x7/8 device made with a C4 chip and both HWID 2077 ("C4") and HWID 1582 ("non-C4") are what Garmin refers to as its 2xx7/8 devices which means only the 24x7/8 4.3" and 25x7/8 5" series. If so then all US and most EU 27x7/8 devices are HWID 1517 with PCB P/N 105-01878-02 with no C4 version. I'm happy to be corrected however. I also have a recollection of a European DAB Traffic-capable device named "nuvi 2798" packaged with a GTM70 and it has a different HWID of 1884, but it's still same PCB as other 27x7/8 devices with no MSV protection in firmware and also not a C4 device.
