Geocode Map on a Compatible Garmin Cycle Map Device
The Geocode map is used for address search in the pre-loaded mapping associated with the Garmin Cycle Map created from OpenStreetMap data. It is specifically included with the Edge 1000 and the Edge Touring units.
It can be found on the device internal memory, the memory card included with the Touring series, or purchased separately on a memory card for USA or Europe as a gmapgc.img file within the Garmin folder. This file is updated with every release and is a locked mapping product.
