germany map locked any unlocked v8 out there

Hi, I am using Topo Southern Africa Pro v3 on a Kenwood in car GPS unit. The map displays fine and I can search for / navigate to POI but when I try to go to the enter destination screen (using street address etc.) I get the error:

"No detailed maps are available to search".

I have placed the .img file, named "gmapsupp.img", in a "Garmin" folder on the root of the SD card.

Can someone please help me with this issue ? Thanks.

Has someone unlocked France Pro v5 and Norway Premium v2 as img or torrent for my Garmin gpsmap 62 s.

I have the folders from #post 1 Norway v2 and france nord and south on my gpsmap 62s and can see them in basecamp, but not on my device. it says that the cards are not unlocked are not visible on my gpsmap 62s. What should I do.
