You say upload & sending?, this is just copy/paste of the extracted .img file from your PC to your SD card.
I have also tried JaVaWa Device Manager without issue ?

Your sd-card is unlocked for writing data?
(To unlock the SD card, you should check the LOCK switch position first on the left side of the card)

Hi, I have already checked. I think I would not have been able to install the map if the SD card was locked.

I have made progress on the problem. A friend lent me his Dakota. We have the same latest firmware. I have the same problem. The map is unreadable. However, the Micro SD card is new.
I manage to install an OpenTopoMap map for example, but not the Topo France map from Garmin, however unlocked.

Did you try another sd card ? Even if yours is new, it can be bad..

I downloaded a new unlocked Topo France V5 Pro map. The map appears on JaVaWa Device manager but does not appear on the Dakota 20 or even on an Oregon 600 patched. The map appears briefly in BaseCamp and then disappears a few seconds later. No idea ????
