I encounter a problem I manage to join the files with GMAPTOOL but the resulting file is without extension and even adding to it a (* .exe, *. img) impossible to open for the installation of the map.

What do you want to do ?
From an img file, creating map for BaseCamp ?
If so, you need to choose the SPLIT option in GmapTool.
