Garmin City Navigator Europe NTU 2018.30

I have a Nuvi 885 and 855 which uses the larger JCV files. In the past I had always used the NT mapsets. I had always thought that the Nuvi 885 and 855 where not compatible with NTU mapsets. Recently I read that were compatible with NTU maps so I wanted to try it.

I do not see Unicode map support. The most of Garmin device works with Unicode, but not all of its works properly.
So I am sure you do not have searching with Cyrillic on nüvi 8 Series, for example. And periodically I could see bugs even with obvious things such as missed searches for town and POI.

I was going to try the NTU mapsets because I was starting to have difficulty getting proper older ASR (3790 type) and JCV files for the Nuvi 8xx series GPS which I thought only use NT mapsets

If you want you can getting older ASR (3790 type) and JCV files in private message! You are old soldier and must receive awards. But you do not share it anywhere because after gpspower.net was killed there are only rouges who share free maps from other users on his payment sites.
