Garmin City Navigator - How to produce the map?
Hi, I would like to know how to update/make Garmin City Navigator Map because recently the update of city navigator maps is getting less frequent and I fear eventually there will be no more updates.
Is there any tutorial on how to update/make Garmin City Navigator map? If I manage to do it, I would want to contribute the updated map to this forum too..

I've just checked with my devices and you seem to have downloaded the latest City Navigator maps for your region.
Call Garmin Singapore to see when the next update is due before you go down the path of Open Source Maps unless you are getting desperate .Unless you are a "New" member, having used the Thanks button regularly is the quickest way to get help.

yup.. but I want to update my map if possible once a year so the current 2022.20 has past 12 mths already.
So instead of waiting for 2023.20 (if ever), I want to make the map myself aka 2023.20. So I dun mind uploading the map once I learn how to do it .
Garmin no longer updating the singapore map (mine is nuvi 55LM) since 2020.
I wonder how ppl manage to produce the 2022.20 map? thanks

My nuviCam is LM too but it has 2022.20 that's why I said call Garmin Singapore to see when the next update is due before you go down the path of Open Source Maps ,it should be soon.
Making maps is not simple ,better to use what is already available like these if you don't get sorted out with Garmin SG

but the map is discontinued since 2020.20
I wonder where did 2022.20 map come from? from Garmin? But Garmin not providing update since year 2020.
2022.20 Map for Singapore/Malaysia comes from Garmin?

Maps are from Garmin via Garmin Express updating my nuviCam .I added a picture, we can only share what is available and give you an alternative.
