Nuvi 2597 problems : Not detected with Garmin Express or Windows 10 / 64 bit Hi There, I've been struggling for a few days with two Nuvi 2597. The first Nuvi plugged in Windows 10 / 64 bit could not see the Garmin.Why ? I have no idea so I could not update it ... The second Nuvi plugged in Windows 10 / 64 bit COULD see the Garmin so I updated to the latest 8.80 Software and 5.08.11 firmware. All was fine with the second nuvi I plugged and unplugged many times for a few days UNTIL i put a microSD with an unlocked western Europe map image with a gmapprom.img Rating: 5Unless you are a "New" member, having used the Thanks button regularly is the quickest way to get help.
