    Garmin_Nuvi Reviewed by Garmin_Nuvi on . system software missing I have problems please help! My Garmin nuvi 2547LMT device crashed during the update. Now when it turns on, "system software missing" is displayed. The USB does not detect my laptop. Please for instructions on how to make a flash on an sd card?     I also don't understand why he shows me this. I got the device from a friend who is a professional driver. I’m not sure what he was doing to her! When I turn on the device, it displays "drive"

    The device ID shown does not exist, may be the details are completely corrupted by this person,

    make a copy of your garmindevice.xml and put in my

    he tried to unlock the maps with the program:
    1.Protected Garmin file toolkit because he failed then he tried another way
    2. IMGPatcher_v11, RGN tool and updater (text copied from his answer)

    The device worked normally in the beginning! When I wanted to update the program with webupdate, the device stopped! Before that, I only made a copy of the gupdate file

    I got the answer! He downloaded the unlocked NORTH and South folders, when he turned on the device he got a message, the maps are locked. Then he tried to unlock the device with some program (probably a program used only for drive 5x) Since there is a lot on the way and no time, he gave the device to me and said please update the software, I also wanted it but I was unlucky. The device has only Central Europe he would like all of Europe. That’s all I got from his side!
