First time update Motorrad V

Hello,

A friend of my has an Motorrad V. For me it's the first time I'll try to update a Garmin system. I searched on the forum, but it's for now to difficult how it works.
Can someone please help me with the steps which I must take to update to the newest maps?
I upload an attachmant which version the motorrad is.

I hope someone will please help me.

Hi,

Just install Garmin Express on your computer, then connect the Navigator and finally update it !

Firstly never display your device ID 387xxxxxxx in public.
Your device appears to have LifeTime map updates, & there will be a few firmware & files that you will need to update.
You say it has not been used for awhile so make sure it has a well charged battery, if the device looses power during firmware or other updates this can cause problems. Once you have installed all the Maps & updates using

power the device with your Garmin vehicle power cable while the device installs the updates this can take a few minutes
