Garmin Compatible Chart Map?

Garmin doesn't specifically cater for older devices which are subject to the FAT16 file size limit of 2GiB minus one byte (that's gibibyte not gigabyte, so the limit is 2,147,483,647 bytes, not 1,999,999,999 bytes). They do offer NA regional maps as IMG files for devices which are low on memory and the largest of those maps is US East at 1,535,246,336 bytes (1.42GiB). . Once installed to your computer, you can use Garmin's MapInstall to tailor-make an IMG file from the .gmap folder if you wish to do so. You may need to unlock the IMG file/GMAP folder.

Was wondering if anyone knew of a similar chart for the Garmin? I have a Garmin Street Pilot C340 Software Version: 6.10 and I can't seem to find a new (2 GB or under) release that it will recognize.
