Hi everyone,

I need help with GarminDevice.xml in SD card for my nuvi 2597LMT.
I plugged a samsung fast charger into nuvi by mistake and it damaged the serial port on my nuvi 2597LMT. Device does'nt recognize the MTP or mass storage mode to PC.
Sadly I didn't backup my device before,so i do'nt have GarminDevice.xml. I tried to modify a GarminDevice.xml file from a nuvi 350 that i have and put it on an sd card with the 2597 serial no and hwid which is 1582 .
Garmin Express recognized my device and loaded an updated map to sd card plus a GUPDATE.GCD file that is for the nuvi 350 and a 006B048201.bin file.I removed these files from the sd card and put it in the 2597 and everything works fine but every time i put the sd card into card holder and run Garmin Express it wants to update the map and download the GUPDATE.GCD file for nuvi 350 again.
I have no way to check what's left on my device. I tried to modify the file that you sent for the 2455LMT and put it on an empty sd card to get the origonal GarminDevice.xml, but it does nothing except continuously reboot after trying to load maps.

Does anyone have a GarminDevice.xml file for me for a nuvi2597 or a close model that i can modify it with my serial no and HWID?
