You've only been trying a few minutes,this is not a quick fix for a novice ,some take hours !

Pre-Boot nuvì series 2x5 & 2x5W and nuvì 465:
1. Switch off the Navigator.
2. Press and hold the upper left corner of the screen.

3. Start the Navigator using the Power button.

You cannot use any other firmware than the original ,that's like putting petrol in a diesel vehicle !

I have a problem with a Garmin nuvi 285w SWID 0827. :mda: After flashing it with an erroneous firmware :shock:, using the updater.exe, the gps turns on only with the white screen. Storage media is not recognized, and does not enter pre boot mode.:ec: Some clue? or solution? :rules: Rating: 5
