How to preform a CHKDSK on a Garmin Nüvi 2567LMT in Windows 10
Hello all,
After a 2 day long discussion with Garmin Support about that my Nüvi 2567LMT with Internal Storage 2,71gb from 7,05gb and a 16gb SanDisk class 10 SDcard not willing to install Europe Nort+South 2019.20 amps. I ask here the forum members for help.
Garmin sent me a email to preform a Check Disk on my Garmin Device to see if there are any corrupt files or some kind of error inside my device. They sent me what i need to do for this Check Disk:
Press Windows+E and look for the Disc letter the Garmin is having in windows
Press Windows+R or start CMD in Windows and do: chkdsk x:/F (x standing for the letter of the disc)
Well there is the problem!! In Windows 10 the Garmin device not having his own disc letter, like C:\, D:\ etc etc. So i can select my Garmin in CMD to do a Check Disc.
Does anyone here knows a way how i can preform a Check Disc on my Nüvi 2567 in Windows 10, is there maybe a tool here in the forum that i can use, or maybe a work around to see what disc letter my Garmin has.
I bought the 16gb sd-card after a supporter of Garmin told me that the maps became to big for my internal storage, but still Garmin Express is not downloading and installing Europe North+South on my device.
Thanks for the info and tips that im gettingRelbelg Reviewed by Relbelg on .
