I have several GPS units, 62st, 401, and Explorer, and we (wife and I) are purchasing a pair of trikes to do paved trail biking, as versus off-trail or MTB.
I'm hoping somebody has some experience with using Garmins on a 2 or 3 wheeler and would venture an opinion as to if the Garmin hand-held GPS's are worth trying or should I stay with my Android Smart phone and GAIA App.

GPS for Bicycle trips.

I'm 72 and wife is 62 and I want to track mileage and know where we are in case we need to bail, HR monitoring might be nice too.
