Yes you can use a genuine Garmin car charger to power it on. Be sure the device is fully OFF before you insert the microSD (be sure to use the correct slot, camera-equipped devices have 2 of them usually and don't flash from the camera recording card slot). Once you connect it to an external power source (not a computer) the device will turn on, detect the card then read it.

@Garmin_Nuvi @B1ng0 Thank you both again, my nuvicam can now read unlocked map!. When i bought this device they said lifetime update for maps, but eventually Garmin express stop my map update on 2019.

I removed the patch because I thought to send the 66sr back to the after-sales service but for the moment I do not send it, so I applied the method below to be able to read the Topo France V6 map:

First change with IMGTools all the codepage to 1252 then put the µSD back into the GPS, turn it on and check that the modified cards have been taken into account, then remove the µSD then with the codepage, set the LBL to 65001 and reset the µSD in the GPS, the maps are unlocked and have regained their accents (for French only) in English there is no accent.

Each time the IMG files are modified, the above manipulation must be repeated, in particular after changing the TYP for example. Otherwise, the card is not recognized by the GPS.
