Nuvi 2595 LMT Has Lost Its LMT Status

I have a Nuvi 2595 LMT and I recently updated to the latest firmware and maps. So far so good. Then one day it dropped its LMT status and the logon screen shows just Nuvi 2595. It definitely has the built in traffic receiver but the traffic screen has changed and is now asking for a traffic receiver accessory to be plugged in. The maps are already up to date so I cannot test the lifetime maps feature. It seems to have self-downgraded. Any explanation would be gratefully accepted.

To see just Nuvi 2595 is normal - this is not related to keep lifetime map update status, but traffic receiver realy need a [ special ] charger with integrated antena to be working - so try to look arround for a original charger that come with unit, may you change it by mistake, or if it's original one - may be antena wiring is greased / damaged.

Just using the unit without any power supply, the traffic menu has changed. It used to have more options and said that the antenna cable/power supply was unplugged. Now it says I need a traffic receiver because it cannot see the in-built receiver.
