    Hello
    I tried the patch on the Zumo 395 but it is not detected when I turn on the GPS
    It starts normally without updating
    I tried a second time, the Gps tells me that the card must be formatted
    I let it format the micro-sd, then I put the patch back into the MicroSD card
    but still nothing!

    I followed the procedure described Post 105
    I put the patch (unzipped) on micro-sd card formatted FAT32, I inserted the microsd in the Gps off, I turned on the GPS, but nothing happens

    I did exactly the same for a Drivetrack71, it' OK

    That Package has been used succesfully a lot of time ...
    The only things that make it not working could be:
    1) Device not properly shutdown (you must hold PowerOff button for a while)
    2) Firmware release onboard higher than 4.60
    3) Problems in reading microSD (hardware damaged)

    Make sure your device is FULLY charged.
    Unpack contents to fresh SD card formatted FAT32
    Ensure your device is fully OFF (not in standby), insert the card into your device and power on.
    "Loader" will appear on screen for a while then the device will boot up when the flash of patched firmware is complete.
    Your device may reboot its self during the process just be patient.


    Your SD card will have a new file named 154.bin this is a backup of the device's non-volatile memory region and may save your device later if needed,so keep a copy of it somewhere safe.

    thinks a lot for your help

    I succeeded!
    but for the Zumo 395 and 595
    by inserting the blank and fomatated Fat32 sd card (with the patch), the gps asks to format the microsd and creates a Garmin folder
    suddenly I got the full UPDATER folder which I pasted into the Garmin folder created by the gps on the microSD
    and there, the update starts

    so everything is ok now

    perfect, thanks a lot
    now I can read Topo maps in the Drivetrack
