I'm sorry but Edge 530 Firmware (HWID: 3121) is not yet Patchable.
The Patching Tools do not recognize this HWID, you have to wait further Tools upgrade

Does anyone know if there is a manual or other way to patch this? I attached the extracted fw_all.bin file. Is it just that the method is different on this device? Appreciate any help and will update if I find anything.

Can I patch Garmin GPSMAP 66i with the newest firmware?

Try using using GPSMAP 66i in "Search Thread" this came up straight away.

I tried the patch on the Zumo 395 but it is not detected when I turn on the GPS
It starts normally without updating
I tried a second time, the Gps tells me that the card must be formatted
I let it format the micro-sd, then I put the patch back into the MicroSD card
but still nothing!

I followed the procedure described Post 105
I put the patch (unzipped) on micro-sd card formatted FAT32, I inserted the microsd in the Gps off, I turned on the GPS, but nothing happens

I did exactly the same for a Drivetrack71, it' OK

does anyone have an explanation for this problem ?
