    Unfortunately all the my normal firmware sources do not show anything for FWID 3033, with the current FW 3.60
    only the previous FW 3.50

    The only current one found was for APAC only ?
    zumo 396, APAC 006-B3139-00 Release 2.80

    As Genius3 said below FireFox68 created a Patch for FW 3.40

    Just for information.

    Zumo 346 and Zumo 396 share same HWID 3033 and same Firmware, they differ only in preload Maps coverage.
    That's how a member of FireFox58 says.

    I need a patch and instructions for Garmin Nuvi 2597 please.....or, is the one from the FireFox58 post #105 still applicable for me? (Ooops..that download appears to not be working.)

    Will be trying to load Europe 2020 map for trip coming up in 4 days.

    Anyway, here's the unit info:

    <SoftwareVersion>880</SoftwareVersion>
    <Description>nüvi 2597</Description>

    I don't find any Firmware for this Device. I guess, as it's a new Device it has Linux based Firmware.
    Anyway, if you can extract Firmware out from Device, I will try to take a look
