The rool back patched firmware version 5.40 is working grate now.
No more routing problem on the unlocked local map.

Note that <SoftwareVersion>591</SoftwareVersion> in GarminDevice.xml

Hello Firefox and others,

I read all this topic, but I cannot do what I wanted to do...
I have a Montana 610 and I would like to patch it, to put unlocked NT ou NTU maps

Is it possible please ?

Montana 610 (HWID 2299) has only 'weak' form of MSV so you can use unlocked NT maps without patching. To use NTU EU or any other Unicode maps you need to patch however because there is no GSV protection you can do that even initially with just a patched GCD file.

I did try this for my Drive50 but the loader is not loading ? The device has been shut down as it should….ANd for some reason I cant activate MassStorage on it ?
