I need patch for Nuvi 58 LM but for 3.5 fw.Since I can't update it to 4.6 because the computer and garmin express don't recognize it. Otherwise, the device works normally and reads the SD card. So I thought it would be best to patch it to 3.5 fw and insert unlocked maps.I just hope the HWID is the same on all nuvi 58 (2087)

Use the most recent Firmware 4.60
Does your nuvi 58LM have Lifetime maps for Full Europe or a region ?Unless you are a "New" member, having used the Thanks button regularly is the quickest way to get help.

Yes, he is a Nuvi 58 LM, he has the whole of Europe maps.OK, is this a patch for fw 4.60 or fw 4.60, the content is the same as in the patch. Can I install patch 4.60 on fw 3.50

garmindevice.xml recovery nuvi 57-58
Hopefully you have updated the Firmware with the SD Card Kit above.
The next stage is to recover your garmindevice.xml so you can create a clone device then you can download all the Maps & files that this device has LifeTime updates for.

Make sure your device is fully charged, or use the power cable to power on.
Unpack contents to fresh SD card formatted FAT32
Ensure your device is fully OFF (not in standby), insert the card in device and power on.
"Loader" will appear on screen for a while then the device will boot up when complete.
Your SD card will have the garmindevice.xml , so keep a copy of it somewhere safe.
To make a clone of the device place a copy of the garmindevice.xml you recovered in a folder named Garmin on fresh (If you use the same SD Card remove all the previous files)SD card formatted FAT32,plug into your PC & use Garmin Express to update the clone
Do Not share the garmindevice.xml publicly.Unless you are a "New" member, having used the Thanks button regularly is the quickest way to get help.

I have Garmin dèzlCam LMT, can you unlock it ?,
Because in Garmin Express my request is for a cost to update.
I have already contacted GARMIN COMPANY without result.
and when I load unlocked map with gimgunlock-0.04 I get damaged map on GPS SCREEN

Thank you very much for the simple answer. I did everything as you said. The device now also reads unlocked maps. I also did recovery and it installed a set of update maps without forsquare on my SD card. My question is whether my nuvi 58 now uses the update set with SD cards, all folders and the system folder that formed or continues to use those from its memory.
