This is normally the simplest type of device to patch, unpack the eTrexTouch25_35_Webupdater__450_Patched_JNX.gcd file to your desktop, plug in your device & Drag & Drop it onto the WebUpdater.

<SoftwareVersion>Patched Version 4.40</SoftwareVersion> have you tried patching before, maybe this error is old ?
