in this folder, it's the original garmin versions or the patches for each version?
Is there a patch for GPSMAP 276cx - B2479 - SW 540?

When I started Garmin Express (whithout gps connected) I saw that there is a new 5.40 version explaining 3 new features.
After that I started GE with a garmindevice.xml of an 276Cx, there was not the possibbility of updating to version 5.40.
So I think Garmin has withdrawn this version. Let us wait and see.

Hi all,
I have a GpsMap 65S and it cannot read unlocked maps like France Topo V5 for exemple

Is it possible to patch it please ?

I have a question regarding the Montana 700/700i/750i series.
AFAIK, no firmware patching is possible, as the firmware is encrypted.
I guess, this won't change in near future?
Am I correct, that I could still use unlocked maps (gimgunlock), is they are in LATIN1 / 1252?

This is a Patched Firmware (JNX + Unlocked Maps) for GPSMAP65/65s ver. 3.60
Since the GPSMAP65/65s (HWID: 3725) does not have the GSV and falls into category 2
MSV: Yes, GSV: ---
In this case the Patched Firmware guarantees the correct reading of Unlocked Maps, including NTU and TOPO Maps with CP 65001.
The Patched Firmware guarantees reading of BirdEyes JNX images too.
Also, in this case the "patched" Firmware can be loaded through the normal update procedure via WebUpdater
Be sure, after flashing the firmware, that version shown by Device is 3.61
Changes made from version 3.50 to 3.60:
- Added support for starting navigation from the Explore app
- Added support for SK-42 grid system
- Added support for Swiss Grid CH-1903+ grid system
- Added support for GDA 2020 map datum
- Fixed issue with bluetooth reconnection
- Fixed issue where filesystem modified time could be missing for files
- Fixed issue where geocaches could become missing

Thank you for your work.
Which Firmware Patcher did you patch this firmware 3.60 with, I tried to patch with "Firmware patcher 3.80" and I could no longer read my two "Garmin Topo V5" files, I reinstall your patched firmware 3.60 and I been able to read my two files.

I used your method, I used Gimgunlock 00.4 to patch the two Topo France V5 maps, but it doesn't work anyway, I patched firmware 3.60 with Firmware Patcher 380, personal JNXs are visible but not my Topo France maps.

If I understood correctly (I don't speak English and I translate with Google translation, but it's not always understandable, I apologize) you have to patch (IMGPactcher) the firmware twice, once to read the maps (Topo France V5 unlock) Garmin and a second time to be able to read JNX (Firmware patcher), correct?

I've tried to made my own custom FW, but stupidly stuck at g*min site...
The guide says 'download firmware gupdate.gcd' but g*min site shows only 'use g*min express' and any dnl link there.
My device is nuvi 57 (HWID 2087), so the link is
Could anyone post valid FW, or maybe someone had done it and patched before? Forum links are expired, and forum custom flash seems not work (or I messed something).
