    This is a Patched Firmware (JNX) for     Garmin Oregon 7xx ver. 5.30
    Since the Garmin Oregon 7xx (HWID: 2512) does not have GSV and falls into category 2
    MSV: YES, GSV: ---
    The Patched Firmware guarantees reading Unlocked Maps, including NTU and TOPO Maps with CP 65001.
    The Patched Firmware guarantees reading of BirdEyes JNX images too.
    Be sure to remove All BirdEyes images eventually present on Device before apply Patch
    BirdEyes images can be restored AFTER flashing new firmware
    Also, in this case the "patched" Firmware can be loaded through the normal update procedure via WebUpdater
    Changes made from version 5.20 to 5.30:
    • Improved WiFi performance.
    • Fixed issue with geocache proximity alarm causing slow start up times with .ggz files loaded.
    • Fixed issue with slow start up after deleting .ggz files.

    good afternoon! there is Garmin Overlander. he does not see the unlocked cards. Do I need to patch it and how? It is essentially Android.

    As you said, the Device has Linux based Firmware (Android)
    No patching tool is available at the moment

    Which file/version do I use to patch a Drive Dmart 50LM?

    So far I downloaded

    DriveandDriveSmart40_50_590.gcd (from Garmin)
    GPSMAP276cx_510_JNX_Patched.gcd (from the forum)

    I want a version where I can just insert a card and turn on the GPS to patch it.

    No, I have not patched it. It's for a friend out of town with a DriveSmart from Europe so I plan to create a patch SD card as well as a Map SD card.

    I downloaded:
    DriveandDriveSmart40_50_590.gcd (from Garmin)
    GPSMAP276cx_510_JNX_Patched.gcd (from the forum)

    Is one of these the correct file?

    As you do not have the device in your hands the first thing is to confirm your friends HWID from the garmindevice.xml or give him the link I sent via PM.
    If your friend uses the wrong firmware he will no longer be your friend as you would have remotely bricked his device.

    For GPSMAP276cx it is not necessary using an SD Package, just use WebUpdater
