    I have just purchased Garmin Zumo XT. Downloaded Map Thailand 2020.20 will not work “Maps are corrupt and cannot be used”
    Is it possible to patch this model?

    I used the file "Drivetrack 71 (2588) fw 6.30 + JNX SD card Kit.rar" and all was OK during the installation, but it doesn't read my .jnx maps (and they're in the correct folder /Garmin/BirdsEye) . Anyone knows the problem, it's neccessary to change/install other things? I've an Astro 320 and Alpha 100 and I don't need to do anything else.

    Thank you Garmin_Nuvi. Now, I have other problem. The Garmin shows SYSTEM, later Loading... but finally, it starts normally, and enter in MTP mode, but nothing of pre boot mode. What is the problem?

    (The device doesn't have inserted any SD card when I try to enable the pre boot mode)

    The last question. All was ok after install the new firmware and i could open the .jnx. Today the DriveTrack 71 was charging and I unlocked It, but there was a small click and the screen turned off. Now there is no way that it turns on. I think that this problem isn't related with the update (yesterday and part of today it worked correctly) and it's caused by any hw failure (smells like burnt). What do you think?

    Unfortunately this does sound like a hardware related problem especially with the tell tale smell. Very disappointing for you, In my experience it is worth a call to Garmin(not mentioning anything about Patching)to see if they can help, often if you have a positive approach, the customer service person can get a supervisor to authorise a "good will" replacement even if the device is out of warranty. Mention your hunting club and how many Garmin devices you & your friends have. Good luck

    My friend owns Garmin Echomap Plus 62cv. I tried Garmin BlueChart® g2 Vision® HD - VEU716L - Central Mediterranean map from SD and it works, but only for a short period of time:Short English translation:Map cannot be authenticated therefore it will be disabled after 17. dec. 2020. You can find more info in the user manual.I believe that the reason for this is protected software but not sure if it's even possible to patch it, since I cannot connect device with PC and grab gcd file. All updates works via Active Captain app..Is there any solution for this?

    This is a Patched Firmware (JNX + Unlocked Maps) for Garmin Alpha 100 ver. 7.80
    Since the Garmin Alpha 100 (HWID: 1562) does not have the GSV and falls into category 2
    MSV: Yes, GSV: ---
    In this case the Patched Firmware guarantees the correct reading of Unlocked Maps, including NTU and TOPO Maps with CP 65001.
    The Patched Firmware guarantees reading of BirdEyes JNX images too.
    Also, in this case the "patched" Firmware can be loaded through the normal update procedure via WebUpdater
