    This is a Patched Firmware (JNX) for     Garmin Oregon 7xx ver. 5.00
    Since the Garmin Oregon 7xx (HWID: 2512) does not have GSV and falls into category 2
    MSV: YES, GSV: ---
    The Patched Firmware guarantees reading Unlocked Maps, including NTU and TOPO Maps with CP 65001.
    The Patched Firmware guarantees reading of BirdEyes JNX images too.
    Be sure to remove All BirdEyes images eventually present on Device before apply Patch
    BirdEyes images can be restored AFTER flashing new firmware
    Also, in this case the "patched" Firmware can be loaded through the normal update procedure via WebUpdater

    hello everyone
    I have garmin drive 40 and what I have to do to install unlocked maps on sd card
    PartNumber>006-B2267-00</PartNumber>
    <SoftwareVersion>590</SoftwareVersion>
    <Description>Drive 40


    I tried to install with basecamp and mapsource and it says transfered succesfully but cant see maps in garmin anyone help with patcher?

    Hi!
    I cannot find any patched firmware file for Alpha 100 ID: 006-B1562-00
    I tried to download firmware to patch myself but I can only get the Express installer on Garmin firmware update site, I cannot find any link to the firmware file itself.

    Do anyone here have a patched firmware file?
    Or how can I get hold of one to patch?

    Hi, I have nuwi 57 and can't add Poland maps, I used several NTU unlocked files for location map/gmapsupp.img but garmin say "map can't be unlocked"
    firmware is last version 4.6, could somebody post a link to maps which will be OK for this device, from garmin updated i have only gmapprom.img with western EU without Poland

    Hello Garmin_Nuvi,

    A friend with the Edge 1000 have problem with Topo France V5.
    The Edge write 'Impossible to unlock Map' or something like that. In french 'Déverrouillage des cartes impossible'...
    The same img file work perfectly on an eTrex 20 and a Montana 610.

    Do you think I can take your Edge1000_1520_Patched_JNX(1836) file to unlock it please ?

    Firmware version as specified in GCD file: 15.20 for Edge 1000.
    Firmware name: Software Version 15.20 for Edge 1000.

    Applying rule set MSV... Ok.
    Applying rule set GVS... No matches.
    File patched successfully.

    Legend:
    MAP: Yes - it verifies the presence of a valid unlock code, to unlock an .img you can simply use JetMouse keygen.
    GMA: Yes - it verifies the FID limit (2200) and the presence of a valid *.gma, to unlock an .img you enough to use the old gimgunlock-0.03 (without MapSigPatch) or one of its derivative.
    MSV: Weak - it verifies the validity of map signatures in a simple way, you can unlock an .img using gimgunlock-0.04 (without patching your firmware), but in case of unicode maps (CP65001) you must modify the CP value (see the Temporary authentication of Unicode maps*).
    MSV: Strong - it verifies the validity of map signatures more complicated way, in this case you need to patch your firmware and unlock an .img using any correct unlocker.
    GVS: Yes - it verifies the validity of firmware signatures, you have to use Updater.exe to install the patched firmware for the first time.
