Thanks. This is a 955MB file, smaller than expected. There is a text file saying FID 3561, PID 1, RID 1, VID 38 so hoping it's "Garmin GB Discoverer 1:50k v4.0 – Great Britain National Parks ALL" rather than "Garmin GB Discoverer™ 1:50k v4 - Full Coverage". Can you confirm please. Also, is it locked or unlocked?Last edited by awalker; 3rd April 2021 at 02:46 PM.

I do not have Garmin GB Discoverer 1:50k v4.0 – Great Britain National Parks ALL ,but it would be smaller as it only covers National Parks
Coverage
as opposed to
Garmin GB Discoverer™ 1:50k v4 - Full Coverage, that covers the whole of GB 2.28 GB

Unless you are a "New" member, having used the Thanks button regularly is the quickest way to get help.

Thanks, I had not come across ImgTool before. It confirms the FID as 3561 which is the number given in the National Parks thread. I put a couple of the coordinates from ImgTool into google and they looked to be in National Parks.
UPDATE: ImgTool has a picture viewer to see small segments of the map, these also look to be in National Parks.

I am unsure which version it is, you will have to check that for me. I do have several GB versions. I think it is the correct one as far as I know. All my maps are unlocked but you can always lock it do a device with the right tool. I do know that most "modern" GPS units from Garmin do not accept unlocked maps unless you lock it to you unit. But some do also need firmware hacks. I know nothing about that others will have yo help you out.
