Hi, the answer to this question is given every year and an instruction is made you just need to read it carefully if something goes wrong starting from the beginning. I personally did it for my cousin Audi A6, last year everything was done from the first time without a problem, but this year I had a problem and I performed the procedure twice.

Your FW is old, you first update with a version HN+_EU_AU3G_K0942 - MOD_8R0906961FC_A4_A5_Q5_Q7 (mod means safe for cars with an external BOSE amplifier ) . then the MAP database is loaded, and as a final copy of the activator on the memory card, put it in slot 1 of the message that appears, confirm with the rotary knob after about a minute confirm again, this is the procedure. for convenience you can prepare 2 or 3 memory cards. 1- with FW ( 1 GB minimum), 2 - Maps ( 32/64 GB ) , 3 - activator or on the first one with FW ( 1 GB minimum or one of the previously used ), until the maps upload is done / finished you overwrite with the activator data .
