It looks a lot like this is the same jack as mine GO 950 Live
The connector has 20 connections on the front and 2 on the back.
Since there is a very normal USB cable with a connector, it is not to be expected that more than the 4 that are normally present with the USB.

I'll check the connections to see who goes where.

    P.S.
Sure the two on the back are the plus and the minus

    P.P.S.

The third and fourth from the left are the two data connections
Pins 1 and 2 are connected together
When I open the associated dock station, the entire connector is molded in rubber.
Again, pins 1 and 2 are bridged for whatever reason and pins 3 and 4 are again the data lines

    Hello.
I did not forget you. I was waiting for a new cable from Mr. Ali
It arrived today so I connect my device with it.
The result is the same Still not recognised under Windows.
I also inserted microSD to see if something is functioning but result is the same.
Fiund out that that there is GSM card under one sticker so I remove it. It is outdated and no fucntion GSM card from Vodafone.
I was wondering why it can't connect at all with my PC. Probably bad device connector.
Maybe I shlould take it to local hardware sore where are able to make resoldering of connector.
To be honest I do not know what to do.

    Hello again
I contacted couple of local GPS gurus and looks like there is an issue with TT device.
One of them also had the same connector and he got the same result: no connection to PC.
Well, I wonder is there possibility to open and to check inside GPS device if there is possibility to make connection skipping usb connector and also possibility to make software update from SD CARD in recovery mode ???

If I understand you correctly, the USB connection is still not working.
Does your device have an SD slot and you also use an SD card?
But I read in Peterhimself's list that it is a NAV3 device which must be updated via My Drive Connect.
You will never see that device appear on your computer as an extra disk, at most with a system with Linux.

So you will have to perform the update with the more than excellent manual from our beloved Orni, but weren't you told that once before?

You could try to open the device and measure the connection pins whether they are still properly connected to the printed circuit board, otherwise you will not be able to do much with all those SMD components.
To measure is to know, so open the device, connect the new USB cable and measure from the cable end to the printed circuit board.
It can be at most 4, just like with my GO 950, why 2 pins are connected with me is a mystery to me, but it works.

Yes, I am aware of everything. But, even My Drive connect (MDC) do not recognise it. I also tried recovery mode and still nothing.
I suppose the last option is to checkout pins as Alex1963's scheme in next post.

What I am questioning is WHY everything is working properly incuding charging of battery, gps and software itself but it could not estabilish connection with pc. I know it has to be shown in Windows as a netowrk adapter in order to be recognised by TT's software, tried everything suggested here in this forum and still no luck.

    Big mystery to me.

Today I will pick it up from local post (I sent to one GPS service guy, also member here in this forum, and he also did not managed to connect to his PC) and chek it myself, measure pinouts directly wih open gps and I hope SMD technology will allow me to make it succesfull

    Stay well.

    @pe1agp and @alex1963 ,

Just re-read TTB_Service_Update tool and I have one question:
In this post navcore .ttpkg is mentioned, but for this device where I can find it ? Wich package is enclosed (for my device) in this file in this forum ?

    Good morning.
I checked pinouts connection of my usb cable and I can confirm it is functioning 100% and correspodents to your schematics.
ALso i use my Internet simcard in order to check Live trafic updates and do they recognise my device.
I managed to receive subscribtion for new updates, stated that old ones are expiring 20-oct-2021.
I still did not manage to connect device to my pc.
Tried and managed to put it in recovery mode but no connection was estabilished , ending with picture showing crossed usb cable between gps device and a pc computer.
Looks like device connector problem so I had to focus on it.
I did not opened it yet so I do not know is it possible to re-solder pinout connectors on the motherboard ?
Maybe there is a bad solder conection or by the time formed crack on the solder that prevents proper connection.

I also noticed that when trying to connect to tt's site and try to log on it from my device, it asked for username and password. It is very strange that what ever I type my existing username (email address) and password I receive wrong logging message. Like there is no compatibility with existing tt's web login procedure-protocol.

So that would be for now.
