There is a mctx.dat file in the root of the sd card. It is put there by ttactivator. Understoot from previous discussions that this file is also related to tmc. Learned as well that it is probably the incorrect location for this file. Don't know what the impact of the presence of this file on the sdcard is while loading ttsystem into the car nav?

original site of mctx.dat that manages TMC, is within ttsytem, if you put it in SD it is not possible to work or not, I do not have Mazda and I can not know, you can test, if being mctx.dat in SD and removing it, you find some difference.
    regards

Loaded your ttsystem (while mctx.dat deleted): issue is still not solved. Think it has to do with the RDS signal coming from the transmittor located in the south-east of the Netherlands. Got confused as the issue popped up at the same time I updated the maps to 1050 using ttactivator..... I had the same issue a few years ago. At that time it disappeared from itself at a certain moment. Let's see what will happen coming period. Thanks for helping thinking both of you Simba and Nick!

The fact that I have mctx.dat in the root of the sdcard/outsite ttsystem means to my humble understanding that the rds-tmc function in ttactivator is not working correctly, at least not with NB1.

Hi folks, I've been reading here for a while, and now the time has come that I want to ask a few questions.

    1. If I flash the patched firmware 10.855, do I have TMC / RDS in Germany? If not, please consider questions 2 and 3.
    2. I replaced the mctx.dat file in Firmaware 10.855 with R-Linkexplorer. Should I worry about breaking my radio if Iflash the firmware or should there be no problems?
    3. Create MCTX.DAT using TTActivator. Select several countries for Europe or only Germany? I live in Germany.

    Thank you in advance

R-Linkexplorer or TTActivator not valid for Mazda NB1
if you now have TMC with the patch you should still have it,
By way of knowing, save your original SD and with a new SD follow the steps indicated by those who have tried it, I do not have Mazda.
    regards

Did some driving last week to the north of the Netherlands. While driving north TMC showed up. Returning home it disappeared again.... Decided to clean up my SD card: removed old safety cames from 2019 2017 and 2016. Not sure why they were still on the card. Only premiums of 2020 are left over. And guess what: TMC showed up during the ride of this afternoon. Hope it will stay like this.

It did not stay like that.... Looks like the TMC bar only shows up if there is trafic information to show in the area you're driving in. At least it behaves like that in my situation. With Covid-19 there is less trafic.....

It's up and running now for a few days. Did not do anything. It showed up by it self.

Thanks to all, and special thanks to Simba for patched ttsystem. I just saved my NAV system in MAZDA CX5 2013.
    Stay safe and healthy!
