I don't speak about the new Mazda-Navigation in the SkyActiv-Models. I talk about the differences between Mazda NB1 and Mazda NB1-live.
Which of them is in your car (look at device info-screen)? If you have a live-NB1, you can't patch it and use maps from here. I hope I'm not totally wrong now: The only way is a SD-memory card with exactly the same CID of your SD and a cloned installation from another car as current as possible.

These memory cards can be ordered from some chinese dealers, but I am not sure if you can find an NB1 installation from another system here.

Obviously its not NB1-live as you say it can't be patched. I already have it working except the road speed and odometer after updating to 1035.9731. May be I missed something on transfer. I have checked and missed the map folder from old one. I used original sd card - formated (after backup).

All fixed . I missed 'maps' folder which contains 'Australia.tlv' from older root folder OR could be I had transferred speedcam files of old '971.xxxx version OR gps fix wasn't applied. I got all new AU speedcam files and deleted old ones and used FastActive again and also applied gps fix. TTHome also offered a gps fix. Now all working good. So culprit could been any of those - most likely gps wasn't working and speedcam files were not patched... All good now. Thank you all.

And for you one more tip: There is now an ingenious tool that even takes over the exchange of the * .meta in the NB1 map (and others, if alternative *.meta available). Simply download the needed map with the tool:

    Hello,

I want like to update the maps in my Mazda NB-1. The system is already 10.855 so I don’t ne to update the system.
I want to use the maps Europe Zone 8 1040 9861 and also the Speed cams which are provide with the map.

The problem I can’t use a tool to activate the maps or the speed cams because I don’t have a “root” folder on my card.
Hope you can help me forwards

I attached a pic of the folder of my SD card

    Kind regards

    Welcome to our forum.

The root is not a folder, it is the first thing you see when you open the the SD card with the explorer.
In fact it is the picture you show in your post

You have to use a patched 10.855 and not Tomtom's.

    Rachus,

In computer lingo, the 'root' directory doesn't have a name like other directories. What it means is that it is the directory (which has no name) in which all other directories exist.

So the directory listing you have shown is of the root directory, containing all the other directories (and some files) on the card.

    Regards,
    Daniel

@Rachus: Use a patched 10.855, you can get in #1. And follow the instructions you can get in #12.

P.S:And i suggest you TTActivator to download and unlock the NB1-map(s). You don't must looking for the alternative *.meta of the NB1 zone-maps, if you use this tool.
