    Hi Guys

    My device has stopped giving me the option to change vehicle dimensions. When it did this last time I had to do a factory reset. However Iíve been using this for a good two months now and have acquired a few favourites. So I donít want to loose them when I do a factory rest can someone please tell where to look for favourites

    Favourites are save in your mapsettings.cfg file.

    To edit vehicle profile try:-
    Solution(s):
    1. Change preferences > Planning preferences > Edit vehicle profile from there
    or
    2. Set a new destination and when it's all set up the last screen will tell you your vehicle profile where you can change it

    Also note, if you select "car/taxi/van/other" profile you lose the option to change vehicle profile again unless you remove SD card/reboot/re-insert etc or do a factory reset THEN you have the option back.
    Please do not just post "thanks" but use the "thanks" button bottom/right or the reputation star "*" bottom/left

    It makes no difference whether you have them in the mapsettings.cfg or you create your own poi file for them.
    You can take that file anywhere you go, otherwise you can handle the mapsettings.cfg that it can also apply to the new map, but that is all a hassle with TomTom Home
