In defence of TomTom (very rare for me), how the hell can they post a legal weight restriction on a road but with a caveat of "but you can ignore this if you're only wanting access"?

I think truck restrictions (like most things) have to be black & white as computers "don't know" anything other than 0 or 1.

Re my vote for Brexit, agreed it has nothing to do with road markings in general, just my "spin"

No, some restrictions are NOT only black or white ( 0 or 1 ) often it has a switch "IF". This "IF" is clearly black or white.

"Goods vehicles requiring to enter the road for loading or unloading of goods are exempted from the prohibition conveyed by the associated sign"

How weight limits work? See the following picture. If you have to deliver to the green area, than you can enter to it in any possible direction from. But if you delivery point is not in the green area, you should not enter into it.

UPDATE:new image, included the 'except loading sign'

The problem with the navcore I suspect is that, it can not make the difference between a "Weak bridge" you MUST not cross it, but if the weight limit says "Except loading" in that case you can cross it once(!) because if you need to cross it just once to get to the destination that means this restrictions is not apply to you.

Another error, but this possible in the map, just make you guys aware of it.

    Arch bridge error on maps:
Arch bridges lowest heights are marked on TomTom maps.If a bridge has two marking, and you could pass under the middle of it, TomTom won't divert you through it.All arch bridges with two height markings has the lowest used in TomTom maps

In this example, the bridge is 3.2m on the side, and 4.4m on the middle. You have to give way to oncoming traffic, than you can move to the middle, and pass with a vehicle has less than 4.4m height. But TomTom won't take you there if you are 3.2m or higher.

    Hi Guys,
any news about to fix the bug in the 9.701 and 9.702 Navcores? Another 9 month has gone. Or is it possible to 'do the magic' on the 10+ Navcore devices?

TT aren't going to bother tweaking/improving any navcore used on our older NAV2 devices (as can be seen by no new versions offered for a few years now) as half are already End-of-Life & the rest will follow withing months I reckon.
Still absolutely NOTHING doing (still) on any v10/v11/v12 navcore on all/any devices (NAV3/4's) that use MyDriveConnect rather than TTHome
