We should solve somehow this error. It have to be possible to edit the priority order in the Navcore. Restrictions in the map should contain a classification code.

    For example:
-Code1: you can not cross it.
-Code2: you can cross it once within a restricted area(this means you can enter, but you will not drive through it, like the 'Except loading' restriction is about)

On the current Navcores 9.701 and 9.702 these two values are swapped. So all restrictions on the maps are the opposite how it should be(can just once or can not cross it).
I read that here are the best people working to solve the problems on the TT. I am not an expert, I know nothing about programming languages, but I think for an expert it is not a big deal to find the two above mentioned values and swap them.

Is there anyone around here who could legitimately or innocently ask these questions (without raising alarm bells) on this official TT forum:-

    ??

They would have to be careful about the wording of the question(s) to not make it look too suspicious??

This problem not solved since 2013. TomTom does not care, or it is deliberate to force people to use the newer devices. I would say, probably others already had question TT about this. They might got a free replacement, but they will not replace cracked devices obviously.
We got to solve it.On the map under 9.702 the restrictions can be classified into two categories: wide purple lines, and thinner purple lines. If you look on the map, you will see the difference.Of course you gotta pick a spot with the two types of restrictions on it.

    Another error:

    Vehicle: 40T truck
    Start point: 51.5467, -2.5679
    Destination: 51.594, -2.5283

"No truck route found' error, and offer to plan a car instead.

There is a '7.5T Except for access' restriction. You can drive through for deliveries too.

I don't understand your problem: If there is a '7.5T Except for access' you can't get a route for a 40T truck (your settings) - even not for deliveries. But why is the sign beside the road? As protection for the park bench?

In my (german) understanding this make not sense: a 7,5T restriction and entering with 40T-truck

I agree with common sense; if it says the max on a particular road is 7.5T then it should not allow 40T trucks "except for access" (whatever that's meant to mean)
That's just plain stupid of the Highways department to post this because understandably TT and most other satnavs would automatically block this road to 40T HGV's (even it you DID only need it for access)

I still intend to vote to leave the EU though!!

    Hi Alfred,

please read my earlier post, there is the answer for your question, but I copy it here for you:
-Code1: you can not cross it.(Weak bridge)
-Code2: you can cross it once within a restricted area(this means you can enter, but you will not drive through it, like the 'Except loading' restriction is about)

There is no problem with this restrictions. It is for protect small villages from heavy through traffic. They made protected areas, to keep trucks away, except for loading.Trucks with deliveries to the small village. It is simple.
I explained earlier what is the difference.
You guys clearly did not get it. But for us(truck drivers) it is essential to know, and understand it, otherwise you will get points on your license, and fines. Most of the times truck drivers considered as 'dumm' or low IQ, but if this is true, then 'more advanced' people(like you guys in this forum) should easily understand what this weight limit is about. But that is not the case.Still not having a clue what is the difference.
Programmers should understand, because it is easier than a yes/no - and/or switch in any programming language.

Nothing to do with the EU. Those weight limits are older than the EU itself. If we are in, or not, will not make any changes.
