Live Services with Truck?

I have just had a quick search but cannot see the answer. Do live serves work with tomtom Truck please?

Ok thanks for that, it's may Dads sat nav I upgraded for him (Go 540) he has been complaining that the Live services don't seem to be working I will need to do a little further digging when I get my hand on the unit

or just overwrite original s/w with truck s/w. all subscription should stay with that navcore. if using sd card for truck navcore - copy original one from flash on to sd card, then overwrite it again with truck.

Yes apparently it's asking for the username and Password, I did a fresh install and copied over the Navcore... I will give it ago

A friend has just installed the Truck software on a 750 with Navcore and Map on the external microsd. Internal files remain as original. Truck software works fine but now he can't access the Live Services server to do a login. Can anyone explain if anything else can be done by way of copying some internal files to the sd to enable the Services?

AFAIK you need a LIVE-device
non-LIVE devices dont have a sim-card
on the newest models you can use your phone for connection , but V2 only has handsfree function for phone

He has a V2 Live device (750) which was working with Live services up until the Truck was added to the SD card
