TIP - If you have a standard NAV2 device, you should stick with blue, brown or light-green maps because the nav3 TTS files are not compatible and may cause streets/places to be pronounced incorrectly.

    Q/A
Speed cameras not working on NAV3 with Easy/Automatic Installation option?

For anyone having issues with safety cameras on NAV3 (ie. they do not appear on routes), do not use the "Easy/Automatic Install" option as this may blow some kind of internal POI limit in the PND. Remove all existing safety cameras using the "Delete Safety Cameras" option in NAV3/NAV4 Tools, then use the "Manual Install" option and then install the *.ttpkg files corresponding to the countries installed on your device via the "Install TT Package Files" button on NAV3/NAV4 Tools.

    Examples:
    TTActivator.exe download-map -r Africa -v 1030 -k arm9-mnt,high-level-c-automotive,high-level-u,nav3 -t "C:\temp" -o "C:\downloaded-maps"
    TTActivator.exe download-map -r Africa,New_Zealand -v 1030 -k arm9-mnt -t "C:\temp" -o "C:\downloaded-maps"
    TTActivator.exe download-map -r Africa,New_Zealand -v 1030 -k arm9-mnt -o "C:\downloaded-maps" --no-extract

    For full details type:
    TTActivator.exe download-map --help

TTActivator can also help with bulk map downloading by creating a batch script. For example, you can try the following commands:
    TTActivator.exe create-download-map-script -v 1030 -o "C:\downloaded-maps" -t "C:\temp"
    TTActivator.exe create-download-map-script -v 1030 -o "C:\downloaded-maps" --no-extract

This will create a batch file with all map regions and kinds preconfigured for download.

    For full details type:
    TTActivator.exe create-download-map-script --help

does this also work for Tomtom Live systems in a Renault ? because nb1 is almost the same type of system.

At this Time No, i think....
TTA can´t patch NB1 and Carminat Live Devices today. If the NB1 Device are be patched with a NC 10854 or 10855, created by @ Simba (THX for the Patch again), and a ttgo.bif with the correct DeviceUniqueID is created in the Root of the SD-Card, TTA can actived the Map, and maybe the Security-Cams.

Check that you have a navcore compatible with TTActivator

    Hello

In the screenshots on top of this page i see the NAV 3 section, but when this activator program runs on my computer then this NAV 3 section is not there. Any idea how this comes.

    @master131

I propose to add in first a section that display the list of navcore versions supported (in numerical order list) lie

    - Navcore versions supported

    • 11.805.3066201.530
    • 12.075.3065980.74
    • 12.075.3065980.84
    • 12.075.3065980.94
    • 12.101.1102232.101
    • 12.104.1738032.101
    • 12.105.3134902.101

Could be possible to add to TTActivator the support of navcore v. 12.072.1849742.84?
