Thank you Orni, cristal clear! :-)
Hi guys, sorry to bother you, but apart from Orni's advice to put TTActivator's maps to an external SD and to remove it when using TomTom's MyDrive Connect, is there any chance to use TTActivator's feature in order to get QuickGPS Fixes ? I'm still stick in the mud with it: my TTActivator keeps looking for the following addresses, getting a "404 Not found" reply from TomTom server:
download-ephemeris.tomtom.com/nav3/ephemerides/gps-fix-20210817-084002.ttpkg
download-ephemeris.tomtom.com/nav3/ephemerides/gps-fix-20210817-074003.ttpkg

download-ephemeris.tomtom.com/nav3/ephemerides/gps-fix-20210817-074001.ttpkg
and so on. Other members in another forum stated that they don't have this problem; I wonder if my device has somehow been banned from TT, at this point. It would also be fine for me to manually download the package from some address (how to get it?) and then install it with TTActivator...
Thank you for any help
Hi NickJH, gets its updates from
but it's a completely different approach as it gets lto.dat and packedephemeris.ee files that have to be copied in the ephem folder of TT. What I need is a ,ttpkg package file...
Both approaches work for me. Originally I used to use FastActivate until TTActivator came along.
But FastActivate doesn't work with Nav3 devices... I have a Start 20 so my only chance is to use TTActivator
Unless master131 can update TTActivator there is no solution but to use MDC
Hope he reads my posts...
Chrome and Edge refuses to let me download TTactivator from the #1 post, do we have a ftp mirror or equivalent?
I'm using Chrome too, but not a single problem with the download straight from the forum
