    Thanks to ??? for this which is based on the good old Easytools and is also included in FastActivate

    Help.txt incl:-
    How to create meta (blowfish) codes

    you have to be the original owner of the map.

    1. Plug your tomtom device with USB to the computer

    2. copy RunMeforCode.exe to your TomTom device map/voice directory or run it directly from desktop

    3. Run RunMeforCode.exe

    4. Done... meta.txt created in map/voice folder

    RunMeForCode (create a meta/blowfish code from genuine map)

    If I'm not mistaken, you only need three files:
    1. [map]-[number].meta
    2. [map]-[number].meta.pna
    3. [map].pna

    Copy them off the device and run RunMeforCode.exe on them.
    Sorry, can't try it myself, all from memory...

    Hi

    can I help you guys, if I have a new(NC 15.xxx) GO 500 to get the meta codes? I have lifetime maps of WesterE and CentralE.
    How can I do the second step of the tutorial? :2. copy RunMeforCode.exe to your TomTom device map/voice directory or run it directly from desktop

    I know that, this can not be cracked, but stealing the meta from it is not cracking, but I got what you mean.
    All the metas we've got, it's came from pre 2010 devices, with original maps? Looks the answer is yes, only from there.

    That's exactly right, ONLY pre 2010 (NAV2 devices that use TTHome) can be activated (by using a meta from a genuine/original map) generously supplied from original purchaser or sponsors

    The old devices never came with "lifetime maps" aren't they? The new devices can be bought with lifetime maps, but those are running on MyDrive.
