Are you sure you're referring to a 910 as these don't have an SD card slot (just a 20GB HDD) unless you've added one or soldered in a larger SD card but if so I guess you'd still need to upgrade your bootloader, see

Dave as far I know, from the GO 510, GO 710 and GO 910 they have the same alluminium frame in which it is possible to mount a HDD or SD slot.
It's quite easy to do and last someone offer me such a SD slot while I years ago must use my friends address in England due to the webshop refused to send parcels abroad.
Realy funny, I may expect he or she did the same, but as written above, totaly useless to use any trick to fit nay map with 32GB SDHC
What's the point in 910-m to put SD card? (only if native memory does not work) 20 GB is enough for everything...
That is also my thoughts Yuriyggg, but after a while I got read errors from the 20GB HDD, that was the reason why I put an SD slot in it.
Incidentally, it is now not a GO 910 anymore, is still in the ttgo.bif file but is recognized by Home for example as a GO 710
@ biggerdave Yes, I am referring to the GO 910 unit. I replaced the 20 GB HDD with an SD slot/card in my 910 in order to run the NC 9 maps faster (in 9.** navcores the rutines for communication with SD card are much better compiled than those for HDD. In fact, the 9 NCs are not natively made for older GPS units, in particular, not for 910 with HDD). And yes, I upgraded bootloader to run new maps smoothly from the SD card.
None of the links is working any more :ec:
And whats this?
For GO:
For ONE/XL/XXL:
(from "download.tomtom.com")
I just tried to update manually with the download link there (Copy and paste replacing the files, to my Go720) and its still reporting I am on 9.510 :bn:
EDIT: Never mind. I had to back out of the TomTom app on my computer and then just rebooted my TomTom and it was reporting fine. Thats weird that it did that but all is good now and working as it should so far.
