you have done a clean installation ??, remove all the files you have (keep them in case you need them later)
Copy to your internal memory or SD all the files and folders wait for it to boot, if you do not do a restart, you do it.
P.S. the recption of satellites will depend on chip / gps that has, global, Sirfstar .......

edit, remember that if you are going to use the map you had before you have to remove the files; DeletedPoi.local, mapsettings.cfg and MapUserPatch.dat, to avoid conflicts, such as restarts etc ...
    regards

I did a clean install on these devices:

Device: GO 730 (chip SIRF STAR III) / Serial: V5 > Navcore: 9541 (installed in SD)
Device: GO 510 (chip SIRF STAR III) / Serial: J4 > Navcore: 9541 (installed in SD)

    installed

, in both devices and these were the results:

After installed, Rebooted device and waited till message “No maps found” and switch off.

    Installed a backup Map

    - In the GO 730 I didn’t make any changes, I mean, I installed the backup map exactly as it was (didn’t removed the files; DeletedPoi.local, mapsettings.cfg and MapUserPatch.dat), ... And it worked perfectly.

    - But in the GO 510, it just didn’t work, it continiously rebooted itself and didn’t get any GPS signal. So I deleted the files; DeletedPoi.local, mapsettings.cfg and MapUserPatch.dat … and after having testing the GO 510 for over 1400 kms it has been working allright with no problems at all.

Thanks a lot SIMBA for your help. May I say ... you are “El puto amo”?

In real TT never released NC for x10 higher than latest 7.9xx. Hence - there are NO master who could adapt later NC for x10 units so, that they'll work as with official NC. That's why you just CAN'T find any SE version for x10.

Thanks for your reply. As regards TZ's NC modification, I was referring to this forum.
In fact, I have found one ... ufortunately, not here on this forum.
Tonyzeta and Mark Cat have modified the lastest NC 9.541 for all the TT units, including older ones such as Go 910, and posted the SE versions (based on TT user formalism) on an italian forum.

The reason I have asked people/vip helper here on gpsurl.com was that I am/was happy with this forum and didn't want to enter yet another forum. But I had to. Nevermind, now my 910's with the modified 9.541 works like a charm (no WNRO issues - no need for fixing satellites on weekly basis).

May I suggest you ask one or both of them if they would mind either posting them here or allowing you to post them here?

    fully agreed.
I know that there always have been "problems" regarding any x10 compared to others.
I would be interested to know whether my NC 9.541 works on x10.

Is it possible that anyone would be so kindly to give it a try?

If it does not work like expected, pls. give a more detailed description what went wrong (?)

I just installed the official 9.541 LE version into my XXL IQ Routes. After erasing the internal drive and extracting files from the .cab, I copied some missing files (\voices, \art\cars, ttgo.bif, splashw.bmp etc.), and of course newest Europe_North maps and speedcams. Then I patched ttsystem and activated the map by Easyusetools.

I was pretty sure it won't boot that easily, after just throwing those files into it, but it did it by first try! The map is activated and working, and even most settings from the old 9.510 were carried over. Then I went outside to test if I get any signal, and after two minutes it had nice fix. The clock also showed correct time after pressing the Sync button. Looks like success, however I need to go driving and further testing it tomorrow.

I also have an older One XL with 8.562 SE navcore, which now shows 0:00 time and is having weak signal, barely fixed to 3 or 4 satellites and may lose fix anytime. I don't know whether that 9.541 will work in it, because it has only 32MB RAM and may have different GPS chip. (??)

Edit: I found Simba's version, which should work in 32MB devices, so I'll try that later...

New Navcores v9.541 & 9.501 released for many NAV2 devices
Tested Navcore 9.541c 64Mb on TomTom Go 910,
    Installed map Europe_South_West 1030.9519
Cold boot after reset till sattelite fix ca 2.5 min
Warm boot from sleep mode till sattelite fix 25 sec.

    Seems to work fine.
    Thanks for good work
